I decided to personify the 13 colonies!
I started with the Southern colonies because they're the only ones with stable designs right now, but I hope to be able to get the other colonies up soon!Bios:
(I might end up adding more later; NC's section is, like, twice as big as the others. oops)Virginia:
Virginia's the oldest of the 13 and often tries to tell the others what to do, and while many of them look up to him, they don't appreciate his bossy attitude. He's a born leader and hard worker who lives by his motto "He who does not work, will not eat." Maryland:
Maryland's always getting picked on by the other colonies for being Catholic. He tries to show them up by stealing their land, but he's kinda really bad at it so he quickly gives it back before they get too angry at him. Despite his small size, by the 1770s he had the 5th largest population in the colonies.North Carolina:
North Carolina originally lived with Virginia, but quickly got fed up with him and petitioned England to include him in the newly created Carolina Colony. However, the Carolina Colony situation proved to not be any better, and probably even worse, than living under Virginia. The Carolina colony soon split into North and South because of communication difficulties and the inability of the Lords Proprietors (the English leaders of the colony) to do anything of use for the colony. However, this split did little to curb the number of really crappy colonial governors sent to the Carolinas. North Carolina developed a habit of beating up and banishing the really bad office holders sent to the colony, since there was really no other way to get rid of them. Even though he had no major port city besides Edenton, and later Wilmington, he managed to be the third most populous colony by the Revolutionary War.
He also thought pirates were, like, the coolest thing ever.South Carolina:
South Carolina would rather just chill down in Charleston than do any hard labor, but he'll get down and dirty if he needs to. He's one of the richest colonies, and he makes sure that everyone knows it. Even at a young age he's able to manipulate others into getting what he wants.Georgia:
Georgia is the youngest of the 13 and South Carolina's little sister. She values discipline and hard work over vanity, however this may be changing the more time she spends with South Carolina. She's young and small, but that doesn't mean you'd be able to get away with pissing her off; formed as a buffer colony between Spanish Florida and South Carolina, she's one of the strongest colonies in terms of brute strength.
(I just realized that they're in order of oldest to youngest L->R)Any comments, questions, or concerns are welcome!
